Yes! It’s a small, south-facing, reflective-coated window that doesn’t open (so there’s no screen to distort the reflection). The silver cardinal spent most of the summer in that window, but she seems to have moved on. Or maybe they’re time-sharing.
But any sunny day, there’s usually some rattling noise coming from the guest room at the far end of the house, and that’ll be the birds, battling their own doppelgängeren.
